Waging War Vol. 2…until the New Nigeria dawns and the baton passed!

I see the truth fallen in the street,
In its zeal, equity rushes to her help,
But at the gate stands a gang of evil
Preventing innocent equity from entering;
Justice stands afar and just shakes his head in coldness.

Your wrong, my wrong!
Your wrong, my wrong, our wrong!

Olumo Rock…a living Museum with mystery Caves and Hanging Gardens!

Olumo Rock with its caves and intimidating boulders was a place of refuge for the Egba people of South Western Nigeria, in times of war. Today it is their symbol of unity and divine favor.
Olumo Rock has become the cultural and historical star of the major outcropping of igneous rocks which have dominated the landscape of the famous town of Abeokuta, located on the eastern flank of the renowned Ogun River. The general range of igneous rock outcropping stands at an altitude of 183meters (600ft) from surrounding ground level to the peak. Olumo Rock stands at about 137meters (449ft). Igneous rocks are formed from magma, the liquid material that forms the core of planet earth and solidifies on extrusion or eruption to the earth’s surface. Olumo Rock is essentially of the granite family and practically speaking, ageless.

The Obudu Cattle Ranch Holiday Resort

The Obudu plateau with an altitude of 1,716 metres above sea level enjoys a climate typical of the temperate regions of the world. It is now christened "The Paradise Brand". What makes the brand tick? Tunmise Adekunle who was there recently writes on development towards the making the Ranch Nigeria's number one brand of tourist destinations.

It is the highest peak in the Cross River State. The resort which was established as a cattle ranch in 1949 is now located in Obanliku Local Government Area in Northern part of the State. It is about 332km , which is about five hours drive from Calabar.

It is located on a plateau of about 1,575.76 metres above sea level. The 11km of unwinding road with its 22 bends make driving into the ranch quite exhilarating. One of the most exciting bends is the "devils elbow" which is half way through the stretch.

Beauty

Does not Beauty gallops in the wilderness?
And like a horse ready for the stride,
Even her neck like a thunder!
She got wings like an eagle and heart leonine.

Like a mountain that drips with honey,
She dissipates so much energy;
Resonating her voice into the
Ears of men like a crescendo.
