The Philosophy of Cowardice -a psychological dissection! Waging War Vol. 4

Fellow Nigerians:

For me I consider it no hard feelings to say thank you to our past leaders in this weak nation going great. And my focus is on the code-name IBB(a wonderful father)-I did not say my father, but I said a wonderful father. I say thank you to him for stepping out to rule our dear weak nation going great in those years when there was no one capable enough to lead this nation. Yet you and I should recall that ‘like father like son’. If at all I was a son to IBB and I had been raised and natured by him, hmm…then you would have a ‘like father like son’ scenario.

Be considerate Nigerians and recall that the young man IBB came out to rule a weak nation like ours in his days as a service when no one was willing to. Therefore give kudos to him for coming out again as an old man since there are no young people capable of leading this nation. Maybe my dear old Papa IBB did not raise me well then as a young person if I were his son—well ‘like father like son’, because an Evil Genius can only give birth to an Evil Genius anyway.

Let me end my little letter to all Nigerians by letting you see a scientific research on the nature and composition of our one and only Great of the Greatest Ruler, IBB. I hope you do understand this clumsy scientific breakthrough. I hate the word ‘luck’ but anyway good luck as you read. You might need 100% concentration and your toilet might just be good enough a place, if it is clean enough and never mind, you are used to it anyway, clean or stinking. Forgive me for being nasty, it has only come to be allowed in this Modern Nigeria; or is it just a ‘like father like son thing’? Have a wonderful day and don’t steal at work. Oh I forgot, ‘like father like son’, I mean $12.5 Billion is not small money, some father did too. I never mentioned IBB, you know it. I will see you where we normally meet, later.
And by the way, in case your head begins to pound and whirl while reading the scientific jargons below, drop the piece jejely and flee, it might be a letter bomb and can make heads explode.

A mental war!
The pawn in the hand of a scared-thrift rat; setting into a perpetually, restless, merry-go-round fashion; a people groping in the dark with non-cohesive voices.
My philosophy of cowardice is deeply rooted in the strategy of mental war unleashed against the target(the Nigerian people). But behind the glittering façade of the bravery in the spotlight, is a dearth of fear and cowardice cloaked with powerful artistry of scheming of a skunk.

To a hungry people, to an oppressed people, however played by the basest thing on earth, a mental war will prevail. I need not have a power of my own really, so long as you the rightful heirs and heiress to the throne of goodness are blinded in oppression and hunger and are now unable to see that I am just a cock in a cowboy’s outfit pulling the strings of your destiny; all I need is simply what you have and are not able to see and fight for.

A little jolt by a mere shadow can cause a flock of 150 million sheep to run down the steep into death minus me, even though the shadow was seen by just one sheep. But truly the shadow was scared to death too, coming in contact with the flock, but seeing the flock take such flight and even going ahead to name the shadow ‘Evil genius’ sparks a great idea in the shadow that is irresistible. And that idea is simply hiding behind such a colossal name to make the shadow look like a colossus. Now to maintain the stature of that fearful name, there is need to put up a new public image; artistically carved by a professional artist; the image of being slimy with all perfections of deceit and lies, a body language of delicateness—an art of speaking less and a poisonous smile (mother of all seductive smiles).

Once this is perfected, though the people complain against the colossus, they no longer see the cowardice cloaked in the robe of bravery which even a few flutter of a butterfly can pull off. A mesmerizing stature is attained already and to keep up with that ‘respectable’ image of a colossus, all the paraphernalia of sliming has to be perfected in order to cover the ‘nobody’ underneath.

This is my philosophy of cowardice; an Evil Genius is a secluded scared rat living in the cocoon of flight. Its power is strengthened when attention is paid to it; for it seeks recognition. Yet, if you also give to it no recognition, it enlarges beyond life and usurps all available powers by deceit under your nose without realizing it. This is my advice as a young person; the old might have a better—mount a constant and heated siege around its hole, in a highly pressurized form, the result would amaze you, to know what sort of bravery lies behind those cloaks of tricks in a mendacious subtlety.
