Carrot

Ta-ta!
Let your fulsomeness be for you and
Your deceitful romping, even a cloak for you!
Yet I would have none of your
Cloaks of tricks in a mendacious subtlety—
Lapidary of lies!

You romp! Yes I know, but I see a fiend!
Though with arms wide open for a hug,
Yet you are a crescent of wormwoods!
Your tender mercies lead to death,
And your lovingkindness to hell!

Iffy like the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,
And in the end, all leads to death.

Carrot of the enemy!
It dangles and brandishes like the
Jingling anklets of a seductress
And smells nice like an expensive perfume!

Carrot of a fiend!
Whoever desires it shall vomit!
Whoever eats it; let a one minute lasting respect
Be observed for such!
Adieu friend, we see yet again if you walk
The path of the kissogram to heaven.

Carrot of a fiend!
Pleasant to the sight—passion of the eyes!
Salivation of the throat—romping of the belly!
Keystone of imprisonment—kip of death!

Carrot of a fiend!
Sorry I eat no carrots, it’s not my style.
I feed only on tara-ma-sa-lata,
You understand?
