What is Me?

Does a man strive against water?

Or does a belly live for a hundred years and
Draw the line of enmity between it and food?
Then, why do you hate a man?
Why do you hate a picture?
And why do you seek to destroy an image in a mirror?
You know where the object is, go destroy it!

The message of a king must be delivered!
A servant is sent out to deliver a mail by a king,
He came before a sea on his journey—a trick!
The message of the king must be delivered
And the servant can’t return to the king
Without a reply else he dies.
The sea, he can’t just swim through to the other end—big dilemma.

Between the sea and the king,
The king is paramount!
Therefore since he is a servant of the king
And the king owns the sea,
He carries the authority of the king!
Oh sea!
Give way that I may pass through!

I am an image! I am an ocean!
You seek to destroy me,
Have you destroyed the object?
You seek to empty me of my waters,
Have you drained and totally cut off
All the fountains and channels of the
Great deep that supply water to me?

Or as a temporary measure,
Have you schemed a well laid out plan
To steal away the mirror before the object that cast me?

/hiss/

What is all this?
Do you not know if the object is a living object;
The image performs just as the object in front of the mirror?
And do you not know if the object dies
And lies down before the mirror,
The image is in the same position?
And if the object rises and awakens again,
The image is seen pumping again.

There is the Object!
There is the Mirror!
There is the Image!
A good mirror can add nothing
Or remove nothing from what stands before it.
A virtual image is produced by a mirror of its kind,
I am not a virtual image!

Leave me alone to function how
I’ve been programmed!
Tell the evil man to go to sleep and rest
From its troubles of trying to destroy an image,
It won’t work!
To destroy an image, the object and mirror
Must be destroyed first!

I am an image!
God is the Object! Can you destroy Him?
The Word of God is the Mirror!
The Word of God is Jesus! Can you destroy Him?
How then can you destroy me, since you can’t them?
I am in Jesus, Jesus in God,
Steps to my destruction; follow it through!
God—Jesus—me!
Steps to my destruction; follow it through!
